Reformer for Beginners: Long Strap Series
Footwork, glute bridge and a single-sided series in the long strap
A clear entry-level flow: footwork and glute bridge on two medium springs first, then a single-sided series in the long strap — squat and lunge standing, side-lying leg work, tabletop and criss cross seated. Arms in the short straps to finish. Six exercises with clear spring settings for your first Reformer classes.
Who This Class Is For
For beginner groups that know the basics lying down and are now discovering the long straps.
The long strap series moves between standing, side-lying and seated. It feels varied but stays controllable on one light spring.
The Common Thread
Strength and stability at the footbar first, then a one-sided series that challenges legs, pelvis and trunk from new positions.
The arms in the short straps come last, so the class stays full-body.
