Starting Position

Kneeling on the carriage, facing the end of the Reformer, knees against the shoulder block, hands on the frame.

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Lift the knees off the carriage.
  2. Draw the carriage in toward the hands.

Cues for Teaching

  • The shoulders stay over the wrists.
  • The back stays flat, the pelvis doesn't lift too high.
  • The carriage comes in from the abdominals, not from momentum.
