Starting Position

Standing in the well at the end of the Reformer, feet hip-width apart, arms relaxed by your sides.

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Inhale calmly through the nose and let the ribs widen.
  2. Exhale long through the mouth and switch on your center.
  3. Take a few breaths to arrive, standing.

Cues for Teaching

  • The ribs widen to the sides, not just to the front.
  • The shoulders stay down, even on the inhale.
  • Grow a little longer with every exhale.
