Starting Position

Kneeling sideways on the carriage, facing left, the left hand in the front short strap, the Pilates ring in both hands, arms slightly bent in front of the chest.

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Rotate the upper body toward the footbar.
  2. Come up onto the knees while rotating toward the footbar.
  3. Bring the ring overhead (like a halo).
  4. Pulse into the ring in front of the chest.

Cues for Teaching

  • The rotation comes from the rib cage, the pelvis stays quiet.
  • The ring stays under light pressure the whole time.
  • The gaze follows the movement — it turns with you toward the footbar.
