Starting Position

Place the box on the frame at the end of the Reformer and release the straps. Elbows on the box, one leg extended long behind you.

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Pull the carriage in.
  2. Hold the carriage pulled in and lift and lower the long extended leg.
  3. Repeat the exercise with the other leg.

Cues for Teaching

  • The elbows sit under the shoulders, the shoulder blades stay wide.
  • Pull the carriage in from the abs, not the arms.
  • As the leg lifts, the pelvis stays level and still.
