Starting Position

The long box on the carriage. The right knee resting on the box, the left foot on the headrest. The left hand on the hip, the right hand holding the long strap, the upper body in a hinge.

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Bring the long right arm next to the hip.
  2. Add the tricep bend.
  3. Only the tricep bend.
  4. Hold the long right arm next to the hip.

Cues for Teaching

  • The back stays long in the hinge.
  • The upper arm stays close to the body, only the forearm moves in the tricep bend.
  • The shoulder stays down, away from the ear.
