Starting Position

Lying on your back on the carriage, feet in the long straps, feet parallel, legs in tabletop.

Step-by-Step Flow

  1. Extend the legs into the diagonal and draw them back to tabletop.
  2. Turn the feet into a V position and extend the legs into the diagonal.
  3. Feet parallel again, lift and lower the long legs.

Cues for Teaching

  • The lower back stays long on the carriage.
  • The legs only go as low into the diagonal as the pelvis stays still.
  • In the V position the legs rotate from the hips, not just the feet.
